I’ve been slowly cleaning out my craft room. There’s still lots to be done but what’s great about cleaning is that what’s old becomes new again. I have been looking for this Spellbinders Pine Tree die cut for AGES!! There have been a few posts where I’ve mentioned looking for something but couldn’t find it…well this is it. I’m going to keep these on a very short leash!
I couldn’t resist to use the Tim Holtz’s embossing diffusers again and my alcohol inks have been calling to me so both are used in this card.
I was asked what I had meant last week about pushing towards 5 steps. I had defined Easy Peasy cards as cards done in 5 steps or less. I had previously been trying to keep well under 5 steps. Well, I wanted these next few cards to be pushing that 5 step limit. I may take some creative liberties as with this card, I didn’t count sticking the tree onto the card
Card Measures 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
-Emboss white card stock using embossing folder AND Embossing Diffuser
-Apply alcohol ink onto glossy cardstock
-Die cut tree shape from alcohol inked glossy cardstock
-Stamp Swirl design onto tree (this can be done before die cutting as well)
-Stamp sentiment and adhere tree
