A few posts ago (A Rainbow of Warmest Thanks), I mentioned that the card was based on another card that I had made for a magazine submission last year. This card wasn’t selected and I could have SWORN that I already posted it along with another card but in the 450 some odd posts I couldn’t seem to find it. Either that or my mind is slipping and I thought that I had posted it! (If it does look familiar let me know and I’ll know that I’m not completely going insane! lol)
As I mentioned it was made for a magazine where they were looking for cards for certain sketches.
What I love about this card is that it’s colourful, fun and simple to make but the challenge is finding, the paper, buttons and twine to all coordinate which seemed to work out alright considering the paper is Memory Box, Buttons are Basic Grey and the Twine is from the Twinery.
Thanks for visiting today and have a great day!
Love,

Hi Spike,
This is an interesting card, but I have to wonder how well it would go through the Post Office sorters. In any case it is truly different, and rather interesting. You could make it a mystery card where behind each button part there is a clue to the greeting which will in the end make you smile.
Love the card Spike! The colour blocking is gorgeous!
