Sometimes it pays to not think! LOL I’ve been quite busy this past week and haven’t had a chance to craft. I started canning a couple of years ago and even though it’s a lot of work, it’s so worth it. I had just finished canning 80 pounds of peaches yesterday. And after I draft this post, I’ll be off to can some corn!
That all being said, I was on the fence of skipping the Easy Peasy post this week. Again, it’s Easy Peasy Christmas cards so they should be fast and easy to do, that I should be able to do them in cracks of time, right?
If I can do them, you can too!
Card measures 4 1/4 x 5 1/2:
-emboss the tree on the card
-brayer on embossing ink
-add heat and stick powder (or stamp and bond, it’s similar) then heat
-sprinkle Cool Microfine Glitter
Now this is one of those cards that look better in person that it is in a picture. You’ll have to trust me that it’s stunning and has an elegance about it. I tried to capture the cool highlights in the first picture but it didn’t seem to work for me tonight. Upon further thought, to give the more sparkle to the tree, use the Ultrafine Glitter instead.
I don’t think I’ve seen enough of this embossing folder yet! I just love it! So don’t be surprised if you see it again.
