Yipeee! It’s Saturday which means it’s time for another Drunken Stampers Challenge! This was an interesting and fun challenge, it’s Christmas in July but with a twist of summer. Which means, it’s a Christmas card but have a summer/tropical feel to it.
I thought in my travels I had seen a digital stamp of Santa in a Hawaiian shirt and Bermuda shorts. Well for the life of me, I couldn’t find it! I did stumble upon this digi stamp by Make it Crafty!
It’s an Australian Santa!! Isn’t he hilarious?! I coloured him up with a little bit of a tan and wanted to add a stamped image of a tropical island getaway with a few palm trees. I do own said stamp but for the life of me, couldn’t find it. (I’ll find it tomorrow after my post has gone live because that’s just murphy’s law! lol)
I used Echo Park, Season’s Greetings paper and typed up the sentiment.
Here’s the Copics I used on him.
It’s a quick post today (since I had a few wordy posts this past week! lol). Be sure to visit the Drunken Stampers Blog to see how Donna, Elizabeth, Suzanne, Stephanie and Chaitali did with this challenge! Also, we’re looking for new design team members for the fall term, if this interests you check out the blog for the full details.
Thanks for sharing a bit of your day with me! Have a fabulous weekend!
Love,

Great card Spike!!! I love the sentiment
Spike,
How cute, I love it. Murphy’s Law will prevail, it always does!!!!
Super cute! Brilliant colouring!
What a fun card Spike! Love the Santa!
Hi Spike,
This card made me smile. Great Santa image and that Rudolph on a jetsky tag lol
Liked the picture of the copic that you used for the image. Recently bought some myself.
Still testing which colors to use for what. So an example like this is great.
Tx for sharing,
Inge
