YaY! Finally I had a chance to participate in my dear friend Linda’s Challenge! Which is the Compendium of Curiosities Challenge and she’s currently on #27! Yes I’m sure you’ve heard that name before! It’s the title to one of Tim Holtz’s technique books. It’s a great book, if you don’t already have it and enjoy Tim’s techniques, this is a must have!
The way the challenges work, Linda chooses a technique from one of the many techniques in the book (there’s about 36 in total). On Mondays she posts the technique name, the page it’s found in the book plus a sample she’s made.
The technique this week is Distress Misting Masks and it’s found on page 60 of the Compendium.
After I had done the distress misting masks technique, I then stamped a script background and sprayed regular perfect pearl mist over the entire tag. I added some pearls, trim and a crackle painted heart to finish the tag off. What fun!
Thanks Linda for organizing the challenge! You’ve been doing an incredible job! I can’t believe there’s only 9 challenges left! 
But there’s still lots of time to play!
Have you gotten a lot of snow where you are? I am achy all over from shoveling and shoveling snow (Jeff’s on set today so it was just ‘lil ‘ole me). A hot tub soak would be great just about now, one problem though…I don’t have a hot tub. It just shows how out of shape I am! lol

Yay, Spike! It’s so great to see you at the CCC, and great to see your stunner of a masked tag, too! This is such a gorgeous homage to Valentine’s Day. The shimmer and those fabulous roses just sing “Romance,” and the tiny diamonds and promise of a “Lifetime” second that emotion. I love it. And I’m pretty crazy about you, too, come to think of it!
