Mardi Gras Inspirational Challenge – Drunken Stampers Challenge – DSCB #3

Oh my gosh was this card ever fun!! I think trying to find the challenge photo was more of the challenge considering um, how do you get more beads at Mardi Gras?? Uh, yeah…it was rough finding a G rated photo that could be an inspiration jumping board!! LOL
The challenge is to build a card using a photo given and if you wanted to challenge yourself more then add 3 embellishments from a list. If you wanted to give yourself more of a challenge then use at least 6 embellishments from the list.
Now considering the photo I found, in all honesty I picked the photo before I found out that this corset stamp I ordered from B Line had arrived. (That’s the HONEST truth Peg!! Really!!)
And well then I didn’t need an excuse to get this stamp all inky!!!

I did go through several backgrounds, pattern paper, embellishments, etc. I don’t know how many cards I’ve ripped up but you know what?? I had a blast making this card!

Here’s a teaser of my take on the Mardi Gras inspiration card:

To see the rest of my card as well as Peggy’s take on the challenge, head on over to the Drunken Stampers blog.

What’s in it:
Paper: White Daisy (CTMH), 140# Watercolour Paper.
Stamps: Laced Corset, Wine Ephemera Cube (B Line Designs).
Ink: Black Dye (Amuse), Walnut Stain, Worn Lipstick, Fired Brick (Distress Ink/Ranger).
